From apartment construction to luxury condominiums, to townhomes, Dallas is welcoming all types of multifamily residential buildings.
The city has to because the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is once again expected to enjoy the largest population increase in America.
With an increase of nearly 1.35 million people since 2010, one might think that the migration would slow down in the 2020s.
On the contrary, Cushman and Wakefield have predicted that the DFW metropolitan area will add another 1.39 million residents in the next ten years.
So, let’s explore some of the top apartment construction in Dallas.
You’ll notice that many on our list are part of a larger mixed-use concept.
This isn’t a coincidence.
Developers are adding more retail and office space to their projects in order to create a sort of “one-stop shop” for residents.
Similar to what we’ve seen in Asia for years, a homeowner can wake up, go down to the main floor to grab a coffee, walk to their office tower a block away and easily pick up groceries for dinner from the in-building grocer.
And while Dallas has built many of these miniature neighborhoods, there are many more in the pipeline.
We’re going to focus on projects that are either in the planning stage or have started construction recently. Our first project is just a couple blocks away from the famous Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
